should I book my honeymoon first?

Ok, after looking at the post about packages, I am thinking that the honeymoon that I would get from AAA is a whole lot better-and cheaper-than the one that I would get with my wedding. Am I right or am I jumping to conclusions?
With the honeymoon that comes with the intimate wedding, do you get any "extras" like carriage rides or anything? I am just thinking that by the time I add the things in that I want to do, it would be cheaper to get a silver add on.

Any thoughts out there?

Well it all depends on what time of year you are going and such BUT if I was you I would look into booking hotel accomodations seperately and purchasing your wedding as an "add-on" after your reservations are made. Remember, however, that unless you are planning on using all of your upgrades with a package, you are probably losing money.

HTH!

What do you mean by using all of the upgrades? Using a wish everyday? I think we could definitely do that.
Planning a wedding for June 13. Idon't know if that will make a difference in price or not although now that I think of it, that is the peak season.
You just might be right! Thanks.

How can I find out an add on price without first booking my honeymoon?

HI Inloveindisney,
Adding and Intimate wedding add on is exactly what I did. Because the intimate wedding package oly came with 5 days (I think thats what it was), and we wanted to stay longer, our sales lady told us to do the intimate wedding as an add on. She told us that we needed to call our travel agent to do that. However, she wouldn't hold our wedding date untill we already booked our rooms. This was so frustrating trying to plan things with a travel agent, and than calling Disney back to see if the same dates were still available. I tell you what, the Disney weddings department should have a 1-800 number. I don;t know how many times I've played phone tag with them. And i have never had any success with people calling me back when they say they are going to call. And of course when I am expecting a call from Disney, I am stuck by the phone just waiting in anticipation. After waiting an hour for the call, I than break down and call them long distance. Anyway, back to the package... I was quoted $2,300 for an intimated wedding package add-on. (This includes the four resort locations, not the wedding pavalion) I believe the wedding pavillion is an extra $800. Also, they may not have told you this, but if you have more than 8 guests, you can invite up to 5 more for an extra $100 per person.
