Where should I buy my plane tickets?

Ok, point #1 is I'm in Canada, so to buy my tickets from Alaska means I have to pay exchange rates, and a 2.5 % fee on my credit card.

Is there a difference in the tickets at all?

Alaska has a lowest price guarantee, but! the other tickets must be the exact same flight and quoted in USD.

I'm looking at buying my tickets separately, 1 way there, and 1 way back. (my Credit card can't take the hit of 5 RT tickets)

Alaska wants $395.39 USD taxes included 1 way, total $1976.95, not incl. exchange rate & 2.5% fee - I'm estimating with Exchange $ 2,150 CDN

Expedia.ca for the same flight wants $398.99 CDN, total $1994.95

Difference is under $200, but that's a lot of souvenirs... Return is more....

what would you do:
book with the airline, and pay a bit more
or
book with expedia and save $$$ :confused3

Expedia and save money...because if your alaska flight never goes down you wont save any money. Whereas with Expedia you automatically save some money
