Should I book BBB?

I want to bring my 5 yr old to the My Disney Girl Princess Tea Party. I was going to book BBB that morning before we go but the tea party is at 10:30 at the Grand Floridian. I don't know if we will have time to get from BBB to the tea party or how rushed it will make us. (I have never been to Disney before and don't know the transportation times) I was also thinking about just buying her a costume once we get there and fix her hair myself. Can anyone give me any tips or ideas on this. I would love to hear from someone who went to the tea also.

you should be fine.. I think we had 8:30 BBB and were out of there by 9. That is if you just do the basic package and bring a dress from home. (That's what we did.) It should not take you longer than 1/2hr. to get from the castle to the GF on the monorail I don't think.. but I've been wrong before.

HTH

Now I'm getting nervous! lol I have an 8:50 appt at BBB and have to be at the tea party by 10:30. That was the earliest appt I could get. Think I'll be calling every day until I get an earlier one. Thanks for the input.

You really should be fine even with an 8:50 appt. Your DD should be done by 9:30-9:45 and the trip from MK to GF on the monorail is about 5-10 minutes. I think you've timed this perfectly.

Don't put to much pressure on yourself and enjoy the experience - it is priceless!

Thanks. I am just always late for everything and REALLY don't want to be late for this. DEEP BREATH>> AHHHHH ok. lol I am sure the experience will be so memorable and I have to say, I love the threat of this more than Santa! "You better be good or no doll from Sleeping Beauty" seems to work so much better than, "Santa knows if you're naughty or nice." lol

I had this exact question when we went last year. This was before the castle BBB opened, so we HAD to go to DTD. I finally decided that it would cut it too close to get from DTD to the GF. So I rescheduled the BBB for another day. But since you can now do it at the castle, you *should* be OK. I would still try to get a slightly early BBB time if you can.

Both experiences were so much fun, and you don't want to rush them. Your DD will love them both!! princess:

You could always do BBB the day before and touch up her hair in the morning. My daughter's 'do always lasts 2 days, and she tosses and turns all night! They use so much gel and hairspray, you should be fine! Plus, she'll have 2 days to be a princess!!!!
And, you'll want to do the free photo session (too cute) with the photopass people right after (before her cheek jewels fall off), and you won't have time for that, probably.
