Should I be concerned???

I just found out that I am now able to go to WDW in September for the pin event. However, due to it being sold out, I will not be able to attend the actual event. I do know that I can participate on Saturday with everyone else in the adventure but I won't be able to purchase any LE pins nor will I be getting the lanyard and other special "event" stuff.

is it still worth it for me to go?

I would still go. Like you said youll be able to do the Pin Adventure. Even with the event being sold out, people that got in & were able to buy the pins will be there tradin'...maybe youll be able to trade for the ones you missed that you want.

Assuming things are done similar to last year's event you will be able to buy the LE pins. Those attending the breakfast get first crack at them. Last year I was able to get everything I wanted between trading and purchasing.

Tell you what, you sign up for the Great Pin Adventure II and I will make sure you have a special lanyard directly from Arizona Lanyards .

I think you will have a ton of fun and like others have said, there will be plenty of pins available even if you don't go to the breakfast. Why I even heard there might be a few mini-meets during that weekend which in the past have proved very interesting even to foreign guests who have no idea what pins are.

Actually, I believe that there are only a few pins that the breakfast people get first crack at. For the most part, everyone has the same chance at getting the L/E pins that are released every day and everyone can do the maps and get the free completer pins. Basically, after about 10:00 or 11:00 on FRIDAY (not Thursday) morning, breakfast attendees and non attendees are treated pretty much the same.

Plus the Great Pin Adventure is a great deal more fun than the Disney sponsored stuff and you WILL be registered and eligible to receive all of Jeff's goodies.

So by all means, come down for the event.

You just sent me into a panic (LOL....now) Your post said Thursday AM and I'm not getting there til late AM Thursday. The breakfast and pin event don't start til Friday 9/20.

oh thank you thank you thank you thank you so much...I was kinda worried that I wouldn't have as much fun. But thanks to everyone, I know I will have a wonderful time.

Jeff...I actually signed up through your website but put on there that I was "electronically" going to be there. However, due to my absolutely wonderful husband, I am able to go. Do I need to re-sign up? Or can you just work your magic and do that thing you do?

I feel like part of the family now. I think I will even wear my boa cuz by then I should be offically part of Her Majesty's Realm.
