I'm beginning to get frustrated. We recently purchased DVC resale. Here is our timeline....
12/28 - offer made and accepted
1/24 - passed ROFR
2/11 - received closing documents
3/4 - deed was recorded
3/20 - received letter from DVC with member #
3/20 - called DVC to get online account set up. Gave me number and code no problem, but she said she couldn't book anything for me because we had NO points available.
3/27 - received member cards and points chart in mail from DVC
Still......NO POINTS loaded. The home resort shows as well as the use year and yearly allotment.

Contacted title company and they said we are probably in the "lag" period and they just haven't loaded the points yet.

Anyone with experience with this have any insights? Should I be concerned? Was thinking about calling back Monday to speak with accounting. Is this the correct department?

I have read many other posts and it doesn't seem to take THIS long. 24 days and counting.........

Thanks!

I would definitely speak to Member Accounting. From everything I've read, you should have the points loaded about 48 hours after they've got you set up in the system. If Accounting can't help you, they can certainly point you towards somebody who can. Best of luck :)!

Concerned about what? it will happen when it happens. Buyers get all excited but for Disney it's just processing paper, all day long and answering the phones and the same questions. There may be CM's on vacation or working on other hot buttons.

If your points don't get loaded in a couple of days, give them a call in case something got screwed up. You will be making your first reservation in no time!

Try going into the booking section of the website. When I first went into my new DVC account it also appeared to have no points added, someone told me to try going to book and sure enough when I went to act as if I was going to book a reservation all the points became viewable both in the booking area and then also out on the main dashboard.

Hopefully this is all you need to do as well!
