Should I be concerned? Canadian question

since we are coming from Canada, our magic bands will be shipped to our resort. Well we are 6 days out and it just says that they may ship any moment. Should I be calling someone yet?? When do they normally ship? I'm trying to remember from last sept trip but i am drawing a blank.
 
As a UK guest, we have to pick up ours at the resort. I don't remember getting any notification that they had shipped them, but our customised bands were awaiting us on arrival at our resort. I'm sure it'll be fine!
 

Whether they are shipping to your home or the resort it should indicate that they have shipped I would think. Unless there is some one off exception to out of country MB processing notifications. I would call.
 
As long as you customized your bands, you'll receive them at your resort.

We have experienced glitches on a number of occasions, there was always an issue if it didn't say shipped. You should have a confirmation this close to your arrival day.

Aren't you from the States? I know in Canada, we've sometimes received notification a day or two out that our bands would be waiting for us upon arrival at our resort, but never as early as six days out. Sometimes we've never received any notification at all.

We had no notification (I've been and checked my emails!) as international guests as well. It was just waiting for us. Never occurred to me to worry about not getting an email.

Yes, the States (so hopefully I'm not giving bad advise) but I am not talking about a separate notification.

I thought the OP was talking about the status on her MDE, sorry if I misunderstood. MDE should indicate they have shipped, whether it's to your home (not available for out of the country guests) or the resort. When our's were hung up because of a glitch (we had the same message as OP). I finally called and because it was rectified too close to our arrival date they had to send the MB to the resort. MDE did indicate/confirm that they had shipped and were being shipped to the resort. I can't imagine that you wouldn't be eligible for the same confirmation. How else would you know if there was an issue or not?
 
They will be there but even if they aren't they can just give you generic grey ones at the front desk until they find them. We had ours go to the wrong hotel last time for some reason adn so they sent a runner over there and brought them to our room
 
From Canada as well. We are arriving this Sunday. Our email came early yesterday. If my math is correct that means tomorrow for you.

I would imagine that when magic bands are delivered to your own home, you would check your status on MDE regularly to see if they've been shipped, because you are expecting them to be delivered well before your trip. As an international visitor, that's not important. You just customize your bands, and not worry about the status because you don't need them before your trip.

I would advise against calling. Telephone CM's are notorious for trying to convince you that everyone (including international visitors) should receive magic bands at home. That leaves people feeling even more confused.
 
We're from Canada as well and will be arriving on November 9th.

I signed into My Disney Experience this morning, and there was an alert at the top of the page saying our Magic Bands will be waiting for us at the resort.

Take a look and see if you have an alert as well.

I'm 6 days out (arrive the 11th) and I got my email last night saying the bands will be waiting for us when we arrive.
 
our bands are always waiting for us at the resort. Not a big deal, nothing to worry about. They will be there for you.
 
They will be waiting for your when you get to your resort at checking.

We did a split stay and both sets of bands were there for us when we arrived.

Im Canadian, and my magic bands were always at our resort, every trip. We never had issues. Have a great time!
 
Each time we've gone since magic bands (3 trips), the status has never changed from shipping soon on MDE and we are also in Canada. Each time they have been waiting upon check-in with no issue.
