Should I be concerned about online v. phone ressies?

We've booked a waterview room through central reservations at POFQ for October. I checked our online reservations today by typing in my confirmation number, and it says "standard" view. I called, and "Arlow" told me I indeed had a waterview room and he didn't know why it said standard online...

Should I be concerned? I'm paying extra, after all, and don't want to have to argue at check-in...

Also, this is our first full on-property stay. Does Disney mail you a paper reservation if you called in your reservation?

I booked through CRO and they got the total price wrong on our ressies. The computer at CRO did not see the same info. that I saw from the website. He said not to worry about it. All that matters is "what CRO computer has in it". I would only be concerned if you get your written confirmation in the mail and THAT information is wrong ! Would definitely persue that if it's wrong. Good luck !!

PS - They told me they send out written confirmation on all reservations made through CRO. I have always gotten them but never for online ressies.

Yes, WDW will send you "paper" confirmation of any reservation you make. I made mine over the phone last year and I received my confirmation in the mail about a week later. They will also send you confirmations of any modifications you make to your ressie. I made a few so I had several envelopes. I took them ALL with me just in case something happened at check in. Nothing did, but I took them just in case.

I noticed last year that the online reservation checking thing didn't work all that well. If you spoke with someone at CRO and you have their name, I would just make sure you have that with you when you check in just in case there's a problem. I'm normally a "do as much online as possible" kind of person but with WDW I feel safer doing things with "real" people via phone.

Yes, my online info is wrong too. Everything is fine except the balance due which is exactly double what it should be. I'm not worried about it yet. I'm waiting to see what my confirmation states.
