Should I add DisneyQuest?

I have almost 10 and 8 year olds. Is it worth going to?

Could they spend an entire day in there (during Jan off season?)

Thoughts,

Dawn

All day...I wouldn't go that far, but definitely a few hours. With the early park closing times during the winter months, Disney Quest would be a great add-on for your guys. The first time we took my son, he was 10 and we couldn't get him out of there! They have every and any kind of game imaginable...unfortunately, we (my husband and I) grew tired of it long before he did.

Hope that helps.

Even my younger kids who aren't that into video games loved DQ. (They were 6 and 4 last trip.) They weren't quite tall enough for some of the major attractions, but really enjoyed Pirates and Jungle Cruise. My kids spent a lot of time playing air hockey, skee ball, etc. They called it Disney Chuck E. Cheese and loved it. We went right at opening on a weekday in early February and had no waits for anything. It was great.

I should say that we got free ticket upgrades with our package. I would've had a hard time paying admission for what WE did, but we did spend about 3 hours there. I imagine your older kids could happily spend a lot longer!

Hmmm.....well there are 5 of us, so $30 x 5 for just a few hours....doesn't really sound worth it to me.

Our kids LOVED quest. We even had fun!!! Our kids were 8 and 10 the first time they went. Quest isn't just an "arcade" it has virtual games that you can't experience anywhere else like Disney style :) The pirate ship game is AWESOME our whole family plays that and look forward to going to quest. Plus they even have the old arcade games we grew up playing :) I know its expensive but you won't regret it after you see Quest...

Disney Quest is a ton of fun, and your boys would probably love it, but I agree that they'd probably be hard pressed to spend more than a few hours. For that amount of time it would be rather pricey. Maybe you could hold it in reserve as something to do, if you need a "break" from the parks? I would definitely recommend going in the morning, though, and avoid evenings and weekends, as it can become quite crowded.

Thanks. This is something I have to add to my package to get any kind of a deal. I won't pay the daily rate at the door. It would be way too expensive. I am still debating this. I am leaning towards not getting it added on at this point. We will be there 7 days and have 5 days of park hoppers, which we will use in the parks on weekdays. I won't give up a weekday to go to Disney Quest and it sounds like weekends and evenings would be crowded anyway.

Maybe I should look into something else for the weekend days. I wish I would know if it would be warm enough for the waterparks.
