Should I accept this free vacation?

I posted this on another thread, but I thought perhaps I should post here as well.

A older friend has purchased a vacation through travel 1. She cannot use it and would like me to take it. I have heard terrible things about travel 1, but I have read great things about the 2 hotels that come with this package. One, the Park Inn near Sherbeth, and the other is Vacation Villas across the road from Celebration. The package has been paid for, but I would have to pay the taxes, resort charges. I would not be using the cruise that should come with the package. So, should I go running away from any aggravation, or accept this vacation , room only portion before I check into wdw? On their website it says the taxes could be $20.00 per night. They offer a gift of $50.00 or an extra night if I listen to a sales presentation.

I don't know anything about Travel 1 but if they are a timeshare presentation type thing (sounds like they are) then yes, you can get some decent deals by doing those. If you are a patient person who has a few hours to burn and isn't afraid to say no then it may save you some money. If you don't like being pressured then it probably wouldn't be for you. If you do it, you'd likely come out better accepting the free nights stay instead of the $50 "gift".
