Should Games Stay in the TB?

That makes no sense. There's a Games board, so that's where they should go. Regardless of post count, any thread that isn't on topic gets moved to the forum where it will be on topic. Why should the games threads be any different?

Some people don't like posting in the CB, have you ever thought of that? Doesn't seem like you have thought of that at all.

Like the countdown thread, or the time thread.

But its just ridiculous right now.


The TB might as well combine with the game board!

It doesn't seem like you thought that the Games board isn't actually on the Community board, it is a sub-forum of the Community Board. Yeah, other posters go there, but so what. If you want to stay together, well then that makes you seem cliquey, which was what people complained about originally.

what about a twilight sub forum too? seems like that is taking up most of the TB first page too.

I did think that before, and I know that it is a "sub-forum." Its not that we're cliquey, its maybe because we don't really like posting in that "sub-forum." I admit, I post a lot in that "sub-forum" a lot, quite often, but I think that the games should stay here and not be moved over into that "sub-forum" Over in the Games board, there are thread's that get a bit cliquey as well, there's no way around that. Even on the CB board there are tons of cliquey thread's there as well. I just think that the games on this board should stay is all. Maybe move the new games into that Games board over there and keep the one's that are already here. Just a thought. --- Think of this for a moment. Say that we move all the game thread's over to that Games board, after we move them...half of them don't get any posts on them as much as on here. You see what I mean? Maybe, maybe not.

So? Its true. I made a game once in the Games board and you know what? Nobody posted on it. Maybe not a lot of people on there will be posting on thread's that us teens have made... -_- Just saying. Its a good thing to think about, IMO.

So you're saying if the games were moved to the Games board where they should be, you're not going to follow them and play them?

Bottom line, a Games board was created for games. Just like a DISabliities board for questions about disabilities, and a budget board for questions about money. Why aren't they moved there? They're a part of the Community board, and Community means everyone. If someone doesn't like posting over there, well that's their problem. If you like the games enough to fight for them to stay here, why wouldn't you follow them?

I think you guys are missing one thing, sub-forums are INCREDIBLY hard to make. You need to have the WebMasters agree to it and everything. I know in the past year on the CB, they've tried to get a political sub-forum for all the political crap that was taking up 45/50 thread spaces on the CB. Guess what, no political sub-forum. It's not as easy as you may think.

I love doing the games on here. And if I'm having a convo with someone on a thread, I don't want to be flipping from one board to another just to play a game to keep me entertained.

A sub forum would be a great idea. It would just be a click away instead of having to go to the DIS Home, then go to the CB, and then click the sub forum. If we could get one that would be nice, you'd probably have to ask Pete, Will, or Alex.

You don't. At the very bottom of the page is a drop down menu, and it will take you to any of the boards or it's sub-forums.

Subforums are only hard to get as far as agreements go.
but we need one.
Of any kind. It doesn't necessarily have to be games, it could be something trip related or what have you.
