Should AHnold appologize?

I voted to keep Davis in office.. long list of reasons.

Would I vote to re-elect Arnold?... you know I might consider it if he could get our money back from the "energy brokers"


His new budget for Ca. is really tough on people who need services. I really wish he would visit some people who rely on their home care workers. I really wish he would put on a correctional officer's uniform and wade into one of the prisons. I wish he would sit in a public school who's county isn't flush with tax funds.... maybe then he would make different budget considerations.

I didn't really understand his/her point. I don't think the far left is anymore "psychotic" than the far right. Perhaps a little more vocal.

Well, honestly, the only other way to balance the budget is to raise taxes. I don't know about you, but we cannot afford to pay more in taxes. Money does not grow on trees, we can't fund everything out of the public coffers.

There has just got to be some cuts made in the CA. budget that don't take services away from those most in need, the elderly, the disabled...


I will say this for Gov. Arnold..... he can shmooz with the best of them.... thus bringing some fun back to Sacramento. It makes the local evening news interesting.

I'm definitely NOT a Republican but all I have to say about Arnold is that if this silly joke is the worst thing he ever does then California is very lucky. The comment doesn't offend me at all.

I wouldn;t mind so much if the government didn;t waste so much of the money in the process. It's a really tough situation, I know some people need help, I just think the government sucks at doing it.

Well, we have to make choices. With the amount of social services in California, there are going to be cuts made and it's going to hurt. Are you aware of how bad of shape the Los Angeles county medical system is in? It is because they have to treat the illegal aliens. Now, as a human being, I have a harcd time saying we need to turn them away. But, as a pragmatist, I know LA cannot afford to treat everyone for free forever. The money has to come from somewhere. There will coime a point when we end up paying more in taxes than we are allowed to keep.

He's been "not bad" I think he's done better than Davis could have done, IMO.

Considering that English is not even his first language, that is kind of offensive. Wondering which country you can go to and speak the language like a native? Geesh!

I never said anything about an accent, just public speaking skills. Some American born, English speaking, people aren't very good speakers either.

Wow, talk about harsh. He is educated, here in the US no less. University of Wisconsin (majored in International Marketing and Business Administration; graduated in 1979) But then I guess it's okay for liberals to make fun of the way people speak. It's only everyone else who gets jumped on

Hey, all admit it, I'm not a very good public speaker. I do expect more from our politicians, though. It's not such a crime to want someone to be educated and well spoken. Like I said I don't vote for someone cause of the size of his.........biceps.....

Well, I'm a woman and I get "why" I'm supposed to be offended, but I'm not. I choose not to be. Because, I think it's silly.

I think Bush and Hitler are compareable. Both killed people as leaders. Bush just lied about his ajenda. Hitler at least told the truth about what he wanted. Hopefully we can stop Bush before he gets as far as Hitler did.
