We are leaving in just over two weeks, not sure which I should pack more of... jeans, shorts or capris? If I matters I don't really like wearing shorts.

Thanks!

I am actually wearing capris, I just recently bought 7 pairs of the most comfy capris ever. They are kinda sweat pant material, but not heavy at all. I am very excited to be wearing these, because usually I wear jean fabric and it is so uncomfortable to wear all day long.

Shorts or capris Oct in Orlando can be brutally hot. Last MSSSHP people were actually throwing up with costumes on and HOT OMG.:sick::sick:

We are leaving around the same time and I am packing all three, but I plan on mostly wearing bermuda type jean shorts... cuz I am not a short wearing gal either.

It looks like it will be in the low 80s. I don't like shorts either so I will be wearing capris. I think they will take me into the cooler evenings. I plan to bring a pair of jeans, just in case or for cooler evenings but I doubt I'd wear them during the day.

that is NOT an accurate reporting of last year. It was 90-95 every day we were there and the humidity was awful. We stayed in during the day for the most part because of the heat.

I am soooo praying for coolish weather next week. I don't wanna do another 'vampire vacation'.

SO far, the weather looks MUCH cooler this year than last at this time. Just looked at the 10 day forecast and it's low 80's next week, YEAH!!!!

We leave in two weeks and I'm waiting until a couple days before we leave to pack. I don't want to pack jeans/sweatshirts if we don't have to. :)

Low 80's is not cold. It is definatley shorts weather, so is 70's. It is however subject to where you are from and what you are used to. My in-laws spend their winters in FL. They come up here in the summer. We live just over the MA/NH border. I practically die when they stay with us. They don't want us to put on the airconditioning when they are hear because they get to cold, meanwhile we are sweating. By mid september they are more then ready to go back. FIL is wearing sweaters and the rest of us are still in shorts most days. So it really depends.I would pack maybe 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of capris, but no more. If I am going during February vacation I might pack 2 pairs of shorts and the rest jeans and capris but not in October.

i'm in south Florida and heading to Disney later today, and I can tell you the past week has been amazing here, so nice and cool. You will be fine with Capri's...i went to Disney for Labor Day weekend and was fine in the all day and wearing capri's.

With that being said, the past week has been lows in the 60's and highs in the mid 80's..not cold, but cooler than the evil summer months here. The heat of the day is really around 1pm-4pm, and that is when it will heat up if at all there.

You can never really predict the weather in Florida, unless it is summer then it is hot, humid and a chance of rain everyday.

check the local news station weather report, wesh.com

The only time we have worn jeans to WDW was in December and January. October is Shorts/Capris weather for sure. I'll be taking both, shorts for day, capris for the night. Will bring my Tink hoodie, only because when we come back to Nebraska after our trip it will be cold here and I'll need it for the drive home..

I get cold easy so I will be wearing Capri's. South Alabama runs only a few degrees cooler than Orlando. Sometimes the same. This past week has had me wearing jackets in the morning and evening. But in a weeks time that can all change and the heat may arrive again!

If you don't like shorts, please don't wear them. A lot of women here, because of age or other issues, never ever wear shorts, period. Wear what you like best.

I don't wear shorts anymore except bermudas, so I will be packing capris & sundresses. Last year at that time was brutally hot. I've been watching the weather for our trip in 5 days & it seems MUCH cooler than last year (highs in the mid to high 90's)

We've been doing this time of year for about the past 10 years & I've never needed long pants, usually we are roasting.

I do bring a pashmina for restaurants & early mornings/late nights.

It lists the average high and low temperature over the last 15 years and the chance of precipitation based on the last 15 years

We went last Oct and I wore capris most of the time. Now the end of the week the temps went up...way up..into the 90's! Shorts were pretty much a must!

I like capris anyway. Don't like shorts much. Always bring a light jacket/cardigan/sweatshirt for mornings and evening and AC (sometimes its freezing inside restuarants etc.) If I wear a tshirt or tank with capris I can throw on or off a second top when I feel like it - tie it round my waist if need be.
This week is glorious, just check two days out to be sure of the temps forcast I am in capris or jeans because I am finding it cooler than normal at night and in the mornings - but the afternoons are still very warm.

Can I ask where you bought these? They sound perfect for all-day comfort.

I'm not the poster but Athena has great capris but they are pricey.

I just bought a pair of "workout" capris from JcPenney. They look fine with tshirts and are perfect for all day comfort.

I also have some "trouser" like bermuda shorts that are denim but feel like cotton. I got them at Kohls. They look kinda dressy but feel like I'm wearing cotton shorts. LOVE THEM!
