Hello
do you think i should pack like a variety of clothes for our November trip?My kids were hoping to swim in the onsite pools but i am wondering about your weather in Florida in Nov.
I have bought my son and daughter those pants that zip off you know so that way they can have both shorts and pants if needed with a simple zip!!LOL.
I was wondering about shorts and swimsuits though, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We got our Kraft tickets in the mail the other day and my kids are soooooo anxious to arrive now.
Just a tip for you stay at home moms.I went to my sons middle school and put in for a substitute teacher and have already worked 53 hours in a 2 week time period.I dont know what they pay as i have not gotten a check yet:rolleyes: but it is all going in the bank for my USF/IOA trip.We have our room booked as well at RPR.

Yes, your family will be able to swim in November. It's December where things start to get iffy temperature wise. Whenever we've been down in Nov., we still wear shorts in the parks and have always been able to swim. Most pools are heated also.

Have fun!

Have to say, it depends on you; I note that you live in Oklahoma. Since we live here, my kid gets "cold" in the winter, and only wears shorts from mid March until mid December. Then he wears his "winter" clothes - that means, he wears a windbreaker in the morning when he catches the bus, and long pants (and maybe a second shirt over his tee shirt).

It depends on what your family feels is COLD.

My kid now thinks that if you hit the water and it is less than 50 degrees, it is cold. But when we lived in Washington state, he jumped into 45 degree lake water to ski, and it was ok??

I will say that the weather is about the best in the time frame you are talking about - but expect afternoon rain showers, and plan for that - it is the rainy season in Florida then. :wave2:

yuck rain!I just hope it does not rain all day long.As long as the weather is like 60 degrees or more they will think that is warm.
It has been in the 40's and 50's here lately and that is pretty chilly.Today it got up in the high 60's and we wore shorts.:)
I have purchased rain ponchos for everyone in the family. We have also all purchased pull over sweatshirts for our trip just in case.We were just wondering about shorts and swimming.Heated pools how great to hear that!!I cant wait till Nov.I know i will be hooked on this place.LOL.:teeth:
Thanks for your replies you guys are great on here.
