I shouldn't be doing this now, because I'm at work, but I've been having withdrawal from the boards, and I can't help it.
We stayed at BCV 6/23-6/30 in a 2 BR room 551(top floor, end of the wing). Everything exceeded our expectations. There were 7 of us, and we all slept comfortably. We had plenty of room. Even my parents, who were with us, and usually stay at the CR or Poly said it was even nicer than the deluxe hotels. They were very impressed. Did not get to use the jacuzzi tub, though. Next time.
We ate breakfast and all but 2 dinners in the room, lunch on the go. For what it cost for one nice dinner, I bought a week's worth of groceries. What a money saver! And cooking in the room was really no big deal. The kids liked it because they could relax a little before and after eating, without having to be so prim and proper like they do in restaurants.
Now, my dilemma: I thought I bought enough points to go every other year and stay in a 2BR. Wrong. Now I want to go every year and stay in a 2BR. I can still do it, just not for a whole week. We're talking add-on here. Even my husband said to look into an add-on. Just 25 points (to start).
My kids said they wouldn't mind going every year if they didn't have to go in the parks every time. I can deal with that: save more money on park passes, and just spend time at the resort. There's plenty to do there and elsewhere.
Sorry, I said this was going to be short. I'll stop now. I'd be glad to answer any questions.
