We were there last week for 3 nights, didn't keep all of our ADRs because it was too hot to eat midday & too ill to make it to one dinner. We had lunch at Tony's in the MK for the 1st time and we both enjoyed it. I had the Shrimp scampi & DH had spaghetti & sausage. We both had pistachio creme brulee, good thing we got 2 or there would have been a battle.
We had dinner at the Wave at the Contemporary that night, also for the 1st time. DH had the navy bean soup for appetizer & lamb shank for entree. He was happy and very full. I had the black bean & pork chili & the shrimp linguini. Ended up leaving most of the linguini because I was full from the chili. They were bowls for the appetizer, more than enough. However, we decided to try the Crunchy desert, a sampling of vanilla braised pineapple, pineapple baklava, & zuchini carrot cake. Great, we were wishing we weren't so full so we could have another one. DH also had the organic beer flight which he enjoyed.
We had ADR's at the Biergarten the next day but it was so hot, we just couldn't do it. We canceled & DH got a brat & sauerkraut from Sommerfest counter service.
Then we had an ADR for Spoodles, wanted to eat there for the last time before it closed, but I was ill that afternoon & the medicine didn't kick in in time so we canceled & ate at Shutters instead (we were staying at Caribean Beach). It was a very nice dinner. DH had a flank steak & a salad. I had the special which was grilled tuna. We shared a Tres leches cake slice for dessert which was very much comfort food. Not fancy, but very satisfying and good.
Had breakfast at Mimi's near Millinium Mall the next morning on the way home. Great muffins & homemade corned beef hash & hash browns. Should have shared though, we both left about 1/2.
