We will have 4 park days in December. 2 adults 2 kids (6 & 2). The 6 yo is a girl and a very selective eater :scared:.
All dining will be OOP since we are staying off-site. Last trip was 3 years ago and I didn’t book many dining reservations then because of how unpredictable kid was. (We did Crystal Palace, Ohana, and HV)

We will do 2 MK days (one is a party day so we will leave by 6), 1 AK and a split EP morning/HS evening.

I don’t want too many meals because of our short time and possible need for breaks, but what would you do?

For a short trip, where I am staying off site, I'd stick to QS in the parks. I'd probably eat either a big breakfast or dinner outside the park on at least a couple of the days (like the MK day you are leaving the park early because of the party).

Agree with PP, for a short trip I would probably do mostly QS. Is your daughter into characters? Princesses? If so, maybe consider doing one special character meal. Perhaps on the MK day when you're leaving by 6pm, maybe 1900 PF? Or the latest possible ADR at CRT?

just wanted to add that one year when my kids were young (6 and 9 ish) they were very picky (thankfully they are not as adults) and I found that most disney restaurants would accommodate our requests for plain grilled chicken breasts, plain hamburgers, plain rolls or bread. I would carry ketchup and pbutter packets in my purse! Look at the menus online before you select your adr s.
