Here is my problem; I made an ADR for 1900 Park Fare for 7 people. Now 3 of them might not be able to make it:worried: I have searched for a new ADR for 4 for the same night but nothing but very late is available. Will they let us sit with just 4 if it comes to that? Also, will they charge me for 3 no shows? Thank you for your help.

Keep trying to change it, but you will not be charged for them. At most, they may make you wait a bit to put you at a table for 4 so a larger group can have the 8 top, but otherwise, you're good.

Yes they will sit you and no they won't charge you for the no shows.

Thank you. This is my question too. We have a few ressies for the whole family but I'm considering offering to let the kids skip out on a few based on how everyone feels at the moment, ya know spontaneity, remember that? I wanted to make sure I wouldn't get charged.

I may have the same situation this fall..I was wondering the same thing!:confused3

Good to know the 4 of us could still go with no problem.:goodvibes

If you're sure it will only be 4, you can call and have them change the number.

You can just show up with a smaller party without penalty (like if someone gets sick at the last minute and can't make it).

However, if I know ahead of time, I have called the dining reservation line and downsized my ADR reservation. I like calling to update my party size in case we can free up any seats for other interested diners.

This is exactly what I was going to say. I make the reservations for the whole party in case they want to go, but if someone knows they do not want to go, I will remove them so that someone else can get the seat.

Also, ditto the no penalty for less people thing.
