I have made reservations for our June trip with BWPPI and Hojo and will decide right a bit before the trip which one we actually will stay at...I do this all the time...anyways, BWPPI only allows one car per room and it got me to thinking:idea: I wonder how many off site places only allow one car when its free parking and what happens when you have to take 2 vehicles so I called them and they said they use Hyatt regency way down on harbor for the 2nd car but you have to pay $15 a day for secured parking...how crazy is that??? Again it got me to wondering if there are any lots that you can keep your car and pay a daily or weekly rate other than the airports:confused3 i have never heard of anything like this but you never know...anyone???

Hi Lynn -
I read on another post that some of the hotels refer you to park at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel as they don't use parking passes. There are restaurants onsite so there is free parking available to the public. We stayed there a couple of years ago and noticed people parking there and walking to DL!
Just a note: the Camelot Inn does allow more than 1 car :) . On our January trip, DD from San Diego met us at the Camelot and there wasn't a problem finding parking for her. In fact, the front desk manager greeted her by name and handed her the parking pass and room key as she walked in...she arrived about an hour after us!

my biggest concern is that they will come tow the car away because we need to keep it there overnight and im not sure I would want to leave it at Anaheim Plaza

They would never know your car didn't "belong there" because they don't ask for car info when you check in. As I recall, we parked in the front near the sidewalk area the time we stayed there and had no problems at all.
Will your parking concerns take place during your upcoming multi-day trip? I wonder if it would just be easier to park in the lots near the GCH...not the valet lot but the parking that's across the street from GCH. When we stayed there last year, we parked in valet and DD parked across the street. She was there for 2 nights and didn't have any problems.

We had two cars one year at the HoJo and we even had a "guest" car parked there when my brother drove in from L.A to join us for a day. They always ask us for our car info when we check in.

The BWPPI's parking policies would be enough to have me pick HoJo! The HoJo is so awesome about parking. They even let my friends park their humongous RV there, no questions asked.

I was just informed on another thread that the BWPPI wants you to have your car out of their lot by 3 pm on the day you check out. Another big drawback if you are planning on spending an entire day in the park.
