Short Cut to Animal Kingdom

I am sure I have read on a trip report about a short cut to AK? If I have & somebody can provide me with some details I will be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

If you mean the shortcut from the Kissimmee end of the 192, then you are looking at turning down a road called Sherberth Road and following that all the way to a x-roads where
you turn right (AK Lodge is the left turn, straight on is backstage)
then get in the left lane for AK.

This is alot easier to do than I have made it seem, but well worth
it. We used this route in when we stayed at La quinta last year.

We also use Sherberth Road. We use it to get to (and back from) all the parks, not just Animal Kingdom.

It makes it soo easy to leave Disney as you head for Animal Kingdom lodge and turn left at the lights just before you get to the hotel.
