Day 1 February 11

We were some of the lucky ones to leave NY before THE snowstorm! Parked the car at Vista in Newark and were wisked to the airport in a warm van...no problems with Jetblue, nice flight and we arrived ontime..

As promised, at the bottom of the escalator Roger from Sunray was waiting...courteous, funny and extremely helpful. We had a beautiful SUV waiting and made our stop at Publix for some room goodies...got to Wilderness Lodge - breathtaking! everything and more than I hoped for. At the front desk we had CM Brittany and Kim ( who was earning her ears). Great explanation of the facilities and we were given room 5081. Excited, we open the door and my bf knew from the look on my face - we had a problem. I had planned this trip for what seemed like forever!! and I was NOT going to spend the next 5 days staring at a parking lot. Now it's 11:30 in the AM, so I'm hoping something else is available...

back down to the lobby I trot and CM's Kim and Brittany are more than willing to make my visit "magical"..and we are assigned room 4028 which looks out over the otter pond...and I'm thrilled! It took a day but we realize, we are 2 doors away from the elevator which opens up right by Roaring Forks and the doors to the pool.. the room is very clean, lots of pillows and the bed was extremely comfortable.. after a brief rest, we head for DTD.

Six months earlier, I had purchased ticked to La Nouba and we decided to grab a bite at Earl of Sandwich...oh my God!! FANTASTIC!! we did some strolling, actually spoke to one of those Disney DVC people and headed for the show..

ok, if you've never been, GO! this was the most amazing show ever and no, I can't really describe it...take my word for it , worth every penny ( or dollar in this case) the most mesmorizing 90 minutes I've had in a loong time! after the show, we head to Wolfgang's for our 8pm ADR....a short wait and we are taken to our table. there will be an extensive review in dining ( to come later) ..our waiter was Jeremy A+, the meal was A+. we were on the dining plan - bill came to $85.00 including tip but we left extra....there was a problem with the credits ( we were charged 2x) which we were told could be fixed at the hotel

after a not great experience with the cabs, we grabbed a bus back to WL. we got out of a cab when the driver told us he had no idea how much it would cost. this was after the original driver ( who became unavailable) gave us a fixed price. anyway, we get back to the hotel and front desk CM Kelsy fixed our dining credits....

day one - a success! tomorrow - Epcot

I agree...everyone should see cirque. It is a wonderful
and unique experience.

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for posting.

Great start! I've only heard rave reviews of La Nouba, so I've definitely got to put that on the to-do list. Looking forward to more!

Great start. We are going back in Aug and I am considering seeing La Nouba. We have been watching the Cirque shows on Bravo and dd is loving them. I would like to see one in person.
