Shore Excursions

I will be taking my first Cruise EVER on the Disney Wonder in March. My family is trying to decide on shore excursions for Nassau and Castaway Cay.
Any suggestions would be great. We are thinking about the Dolphin encounter or Stingray City ( told this might be closed because of hurricane damage )
And the personal watercraft eco tour in Castaway Cay.

Hi Sophie~
The moderators may move your question to the general cruise board where you may get more responses...but until then:

We did the dolphin encounter and LOVED it. We included some 40 year olds, a 62 year old, and also a 17, a 7 and a 5 year old. Everyone was very happy.

My DH and 17 year old DD also did the eco tour and loved that as well.

I have done a lot of research and was told that the dolphin encounter although wonderful is overpriced and you really only get about 5 minutes personal time with the dolphin. This is from a Disney employee

The Stingray City is closed because of hurricane damage but they have another Blackbeard Stingray adventure I have talked to a few other people who have taken this adventure and loved it. They liked it better then Stingray City. My whole family is signed up for it.

When is your cruise? We leave on March 20.
