shore excursion reservations

hello all!

we are heading out next week for the Jan. 26th, 4-day Wonder, and have a question about shore excursions, as this is our first Disney cruise. Everyone here on the boards as well as our TA have advised us to purchase our shore excursions ahead of time, to ensure we get what we want. I have no problem with that, except for one thing. we're not sure what we want to do. Alot of the fun of doing something like this is the ability to do whatever we want when the time arises. Neither my wife nor I want to sign up for activities until we get on the boat, and start getting into that vacation mood! Is it possible to sign up for shore excursions on a day by day basis, to sign up for something for the next day as each day comes? Or will it be impossible because of space? Or does Disney even let you sign up for shore excursions once you're on the boat? thanks in advance for all your help. We can't wait!

We're on that cruise too! I prebooked a Nassau excursion and am actually trying to get through to cancel it -- I looked at the itinerary listings at www.castawayclub.com and decided to stay on the ship and enjoy instead!

You can sign up on the ship, but the popular ones supposedly go early -- they told me that would be the Dolphin Encounter in Nassau for us.

I believe that not all excursions will sell out before you sail. Those that do would be things like the parasailing at CC and the fishing tour. Those are very limited and are on a first come first serve basis.

How about the Western's Fury Catamaran? Does that sell out prior or can we wait? I guess assume the ship is full.
