Shore excursion age question...

I'm sure I already know the answer to this question, but I thought I'd ask just in case.
How strict are they about the minimum age on shore excursions? My daughter will be just 2 months shy of 5 years old when we go and most of the shore excursions that we would be interested in have a minimum age of 5. I know sometimes with the clubs they will let you go up to the next age group if it's close to your birthday - I just wondered if they give any leeway like that on shore excursions.

They are very strict about the age requirements for shore excursions and they will not let children who have not reach the required age participate in an excursion if they are underage, sorry.

Webmaster Michelle is correct. My DD will be 3 weeks shy of her 13th b-day, and while she can participate in the teen activities aboard the ship, she cannot participate in any of the shore excursions where the min age is 13. Something about insurance regulations for the tour providers which have to strictly adhere to the age requirements.
