Hi-we've all the parks and dinner shows sorted but need a bit of help with the planned shopping day.
The last time we visited orlando we used the belz oulets which although ok did seem to be a bit tired.
Has anyone any reccomendations on the best places to shop?
Although its my least favourite day of the holiday i still wanna get some Ralph Lauren shirts and the missus wants her nine west shoes amongst other things!
Thats without thinking what the kids want.
Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Have to agree Belz looked like they'd had their chips last year!! Read on another thread that they may have shut down? Try Orlando Premium Outlets just off I4 junc 68 (old 27 Lake Buena Vista) also there were plenty of sales on at The Florida Mall last time around. For true designer stuff then the Malls at Millenia seems to be the place to go but don't know if this is outlet prices.
HTH SD :paw:

Premium Outlets has a Nine West.....your DW has good taste in shoes.......LOL.
I like Premium Outlets, but I find with all outlets it can be a hit or a miss when it comes to bargains. :)

Another vote for Premium Outlets. I bought a pair of Nine West boots in Debenhams last year and I will definately be buying something from Nine West on holiday. Also there was a really small shop called The Country Store where I got most of my pressies from, I got 6 American banner things, china coasters and a couple of Boyd teddy bears from there! They thanked me so much and said 'Hope to see ya real soon" :rotfl:

Another vote for Premium Outlets and Florida Mall here. Hubby always finds bargains at the Nike store at Premium, me I love visiting Old Navy and the Disney Store at Florida Mall. Everytime we've visited Old Navy and DS, they've had big sales on.

Florida Mall is my absolute favourite! I've just got back and we went almost every day for 2 weeks. The food court is great, too.

Mall an Millenia is really nice with some great designer stores and some cheaper ones, too. It's defiantely not outlet prices, though. It's one you won't want to miss.

Can I ask about electrical stuff? My kids are keen on getting one of these handheld Nintendo things for Xmas and I wonder if I could get it whilst I'm there? Will it work over here and are the games compatible? What about MP3 players, cameras and the like?

Thanks

I have a Japanese Nintendo DS which works fine here, so an American one probably would too.

we got a photo ipod for nearly half the price
works fine

don't know how we done without one before

Another vote for Florida Mall, it may not have as many 'outlet' type stores, but it makes up for that in the quantity of the other stores and the large department storess as well. It also has a great foodcourt :)

Hiya

I love the florida mall (toys r us for xmas shopping) and the belz (it was just under efurb not closure)

cant wait to go christmas shopping!! bought some roll wrap and bows from costco yesterday, plus got my cards for the exchange

Another vote for Premium Outlets. Very close and a good variety of shops.
Got a lot of stuff there last time... and a new suitcase at the Disney outlet store ;)

Got to be premium outlets and Florida Mall. Mall at Millennia is worth a visit just to take a look in Tiffanys and has great food court but very pricey :flower:

Another vote here for Premium Outlets. A good half day's shopping (or more!), with some decent bargains. Florida Mall is pretty immense- huge choice of stores.

Cheers, Carl.

No Vote here for Premium Outlets

Why?

It costs too much money!!!

Wife loves it, daughter is now 11 going on 21 and they both literally shop til they drop!

Pray for me in October :guilty:

Hmm, the missus shopping til she drops? Sounds familiar.

You have my sympathy (hee hee).

Cheers,Carl.
