Is St. Martin a good place to shop for jewelry? Can you be confident that you are buying quality stones or do you need to know what to look for in fine jewelry?

I've bought thru both Grand Jewelers and Princess Jewelers in St Martin. In both cases I more than got what I paid for.

You need to have some knowledge just to know if it sounds too good to be true. ask a lot of quesitons!
