Does anyone have a link for shopping trips in Orlando? We booked one a few years ago that went to Walmart, Mall at Millenia and Premium Outlet Mall. We booked it through First Choice and we are not going with them next year!

Thanks in advance!

Kathryn

:tink: yes i'd like to take a shopping trip while i'm there aswell

Kathryn,

Are you hiring a car? Or do tour operators do 'trips'? Not sure what you mean?

We enjoy shopping at the premier outlets at LBV. You can go on line before you leave, and join the vip club and get extra discounts.
My DH and DS went mad in the Rockport store and I got a further 20% discount at the till.
You can also get a discount at Macy's too!
We love the Florida Mall as it has Dillards, JC Penney's and the all important Abercrombie and Fitch for our DD!
We also check out the TJMaxx and Ross stores too - as you can get some great bargains on top names there!
Hope this helps.

Ok, well from a quick "google" search (i.e. NOT personal recommendations):
- http://www.undercovertourist.com/united-states/florida/orlando/attractions/shopping-tour.html

They may well be the same tour...

Depending on how many of you there are and EXACTLY what you want to do, where you want to go and how long you want to spend there... you MAY be better off just choosing a mall (or two) and getting a taxi from your hotel to them independently...

Good luck :)

Boo

You might be cheaper taking the Disney bus to DTD and taking a taxi to a shopping mall etc from there :)

We booked an organised shopping trip with attraction tickets direct which went to Walmart, Premium Outlets, Mall at Millenia and you got a voucher towards your lunch.

:cool1: did that work out very expensive with the taxi's? :simba: :tinker:

Hi Kathryn,

Have you thought about hiring a car for a couple of days?? You could do your shopping in one go, and also use it to go further afield, say to Kennedy Space Centre?

I know lynx buses are used around Orlando, and will be alot cheaper than taxis. There is a service which goes into downtown Orlando from Disney, so with a bit of planning, you could probably work out some shopping routes! The Lynx buses go to all the major shopping malls, and to International Drive. Why not check out their website?

Good luck with your planning. Given the choice, I'd definately go the the Florida Mall, Premier Outlets (don't forget to join the VIP club and get extra discounts), and possilblye Altamonte Mall. I wouldn't bother about Wallmart, unless you are looking for food - I'd rather go to Target!

Happy Shopping!!
