Shopping thru Milesource

I need to make a purchase at Staples.com (over $150) and Milesource is the only RP I do that gives points for shopping there. First, has anyone shopped through Milesource? And second, did you get your points. I quit doing Jumbogets because I rarely received credit so I'm wondering if Shopping through their site is the same? Thanks!

Kathy- My DH has to order from buy.com almost every week for his company. He's been going through milesource for a very long time.

I can tell you that you will get your points. I can also tell you that it will take FOREVER! The points for purchases made in March and April were awarded in June.

If you're willing to be patient and if it's really your only choice, go through milesource.

I shop through Milesource (at Staples.com) ALL the time... and here are a couple of "pointers"

Of course, make sure you use the @milesource.com email address... then you will receive the confirmation of the order (via Milesource)... hold on to that email... a number of times I've had to forward a copy to Milesource - and for me, using AOL, these emails disappear after 30 days... so I just forward them to myself so that I keep them... I've had it take anywhere from 1.5 weeks to over 30 days, but I have gotten credit for about 95% of my purchases... not too bad when you consider the hassle I used to go through with Suzykats to get credit.

I have purchased at ehobby through milesource. It took about 6 weeks to get my points.

That said, I would never buy online just for rewards. I don't include the rewards as a savings and I don't include it toward my estimate of out of pocket expense.

I have found that when I need to get something anyway and if I get the same price or better online...including taxes and shipping and my time and blah, blah, blah ... that the rewards really do end up being rewards or an added bonus.

Examples: most toiletries and my airline tickets, car parts are another good one. Unfortunately most of the car parts I need are for restoring my DW's camaro and I can't find anyplace online that offers good deals and rewards....would have paid for 2 trips to the World if I could.

I did a LOT of shopping through Milesource when I first signed up. Never received any miles for it still to this day. Unfortunately, I didn't keep any of my online order confirmations to forward to Milesource as proof, so I've been had
