The scrapbooking store does have some neat stuff, but it's easy to get carried away. A lot of the souvenir shops have the same stuff that's sold in the scrapbook shop, but they do have a bigger variety of stickers.
My advice: Get your album there, along w/ page sets that have "2006" references on them.
If you have any scrapbooking stores around you, check them out and see what type of Disney stuff they have. Because a lot of the stuff in the DTD scrapping store is very much the same as what's in the stores locally.
I got this advice from a friend and that worked out great. I got a cool Tink scrapbook and a pack of pages that had a page for every park, and a few extras, then there were sheets of Disney letter stickers, 2006 stickers, etc. I got a few other little things but I REALLY had to try to contain myself and was pretty successful.
This is my first BIG attempt at scrapbooking and it's so fun. Lots of work, but worth it, and it allows me to relive the experience! My church has "Heart Art" which meets one Friday evening a month, so I pretty much only do it then.
