Shopping outside Disneyland

We want to do some shopping for snacks and toiletries etc...Would the Wal-mart in Anaheim Plaza or Target be on the ART route? Is it walking distance from Anaheim Hilton? And would Anaheim Hilton be a long walk to DL's main gate?

We stayed across the street from the Anaheim Hilton at the Marriott, and we'd walk to and from the DL parks everyday. We have 2 DDs (ages 4 and 8), who were 2 and 6 during that particular trip. It's doable, about a 15-minute walk each way.

The Target store is at the corner of Chapman and Harbor, kitty corner from the Hyatt Orange County when we stayed there on another trip. You can walk there from the Hilton, but I wouldn't do it from DL to Target. The distance is too much, especially if you're carrying supplies like bottled water.
