just curious as to what kind of disney shopping is to be had on board? i don't know what i'm going to do, being in florida and not being able to hit world of disney!!!!!!! :earseek:

At the the more men you meet, the more you like your cat;)

I luv it!! too cute!

I went on the Magic (so I can only speak for that ship). There were several shops. They carried a variety of Disney merchandise. There are some items that are only available on the cruises. So, it was fun getting stuff with a cruise theme. Needless to say, there's not a much shopping on the ship as in a park. You can do what I did - I took an extra couple of days and headed over to downtown Disney. Got the remainder of my shopping out of my system (if you can do that!!:earsgirl: ).

i wish i could do that...unfortunately we booked our air travel with the cruise, so we'll be taken right from the dock to the airport :(

Treasure Ketch:
Duty free perfume
Jewelry - Disney and non-Disney, mostly sterling silver and 14kt
Watches - Disney and non-Disney, TAG, Swiss Army and a few other brands
Clothing - some Disney better clothing and a few designers, bathing suits for men and women
Collectibles - very few but they are there
Posters - ship related
Small selection of necessities, suncare products, baby products (very few), film, batteries and magazines

Mickey's Mates:
Cruise logo items - ornaments, photo albums, mugs, pens, shirts, luggage, photo frames, and I'm sure I left out a few items
Costumes - Disney characters for boys and girls
Toys - various Disney toys
CD's - music from the movies mostly
Sunglasses
Bathing suits - boys and girls along with sandals for children and adults
Pins - lots of them, some ship exclusive and some 'rack' pins

I'm sure there are a few things I forgot. In case you can't tell, I spent A LOT of time in the shops and we haven't been on the cruise in over a year.
You won't find park related merchandise or housewares, but lots of ship related stuff.
Happy Shopping :)

p.s. I forgot about Shutters and the Spa
Shutters not only sells the photos they take onboard but also cameras.
The Spa sells their products but I don't know what lines since I haven't been there.
