Shopping Mall

Hello
just wondering if the Lake buena Vista Mall is ok for a quick afternoon of shopping.

we are spending 1 week at Disney and do not want to Hire a car so wont have much time it says about $12 by a taxi??

any comments/suggestions welcome

There is a outlet mall, just right out side of DTD or Disney Springs as it is going to be called. You just drive past DTD, down Hotel Blvd, at the light turn right, drive under I4 first light ( near bahama breeze) turn left follow the road around and there is the outlet, this is one of my favorites, good stores, I haven't even eaten at food court so I can't review that,, another reason we like this mall, is there is a Publix, across the parking lot, great to pick up items for the room. or something you forgot. There is a large bus area for drop off's, you might want to check and see if there is a bus from DTD over there.

Loves Timone is referring to the Premium Outlets on Vineland. It is a much larger outlet than LBV, and a little closer to resorts on the East Side of Disney property. Resorts on the South or West side would be a bit closer to LBV, but it wouldn't be a huge difference in cab fare.

We've shopped both, and Premium will give you a lot more selection for an afternoon.

Vineland is close to DTD

There are two Orlando Premium outlet locations,the Vineland ave location is closest to Disney and Sea World and the International Drive location is on the north end of International Drive just past Universal.Lake Buena Vista factory stores is the smallest of the outlets and is located on 535 not all that much further than the Vineland Ave Orlando Premium outlets location,instead of turning left on Vineland Ave from 535 to get to the Vineland ave premium outlet just keep going straight on 535 and the outlets will be on the left.
