Kev likes shopping in speciality (or should that be specialty ) stores. You know the ones - you receive liquid refreshment served by buxom wenches for your hard-earned bucks.
One store I really like is Dylan's candy store - near the food court at the Florida Mall - spent ages in there in August, still got a couple of packs of tangerine bubble gum
Oh me too Johnny! They had some fab T shirts in there -basically so it looked like you were wearing the logo of candy bars - and I so wish I had bought one.
For inexpensive university logo clothes and sort of your basic teen clothing you should try Steve & Barry's....
i think there's one at Festival Bay or Fantasy Bay or whatever that mall is called...
everything in the store is one price.....when we were at the one in suburban detroit last (in September), everything was $5.98, but sometimes it's more ($7.98)....
they have some good buys for that price....my son bought a 'leather' letter jacket (you know, those varsity type jackets boys wear in high school and college in the states) for $5.98.....he's worn it now for 2 years, so it can't be that bad quality...and it looks great on him.....
my daughter just went on a shopping spree there in September.....she bought the cutest little skirts ever and really nice tank tops (we live in a hot climate so she's wearing it all now)....also some nice velour training trouser type things......really nice ones.....(i saw similar ones for a lot more at Saks)...
all together she bought about 25 pieces of clothing for only $150....amazing...
even if it only lasts one season it would be worth it....but she's still wearing all the things she bought there 2 years ago....so the quality must be ok...certainly for $5.98 an item....
What about West Oaks Mall? Went once with my parents back in the 90's - don't remember too much about it. Love Mall at Milennia personally as I bought my now fiancee's engagement ring there! I agree with earlier post, they do treat you exceptionally well even if you are dressed as if you should have been buying rings off bid up tv! lol
Premium Outlets is the best IMHO but none of us enjoy Florida Mall. Beltz is so run down I dont think I will br going back but I did enjoy Festival Bay even though the shops werent all occupied. However the place I absolutely hate with a passion is Walmart -uughhh! It was dirty, the staff were rude and I just wanted to run. I will stick to Publix for food next time and use the other malls for everything else,
Nice to read everyones varying views.

Maybe I am a snob, but you should have seen the standard of the chavs who followed us in!?! Burberry baseball caps or what! To be honest, DW took one look in a cabinet and when the chavs went towards it too, she focussed her attention on a different product.
As I said, maybe I am a snob, but think that they were from a certain town in the..... ooops, said enough!
i'm a few decades and a few measurements past being able to look good in anything from Steve and Barry's....i leave that to the younger generation..
for me there's only one store worth shopping in.....Saks....but it has to be during their final final final sales (when everything gets down to about 75% off effectively)......it's still beastly expensive but bearably so....
but they only have those sales a few times a year......so you have to be very lucky to be there just at the right time....but if you are......
