Shopping at Val D'Europe....

Hi All...

I have a quick quesyion. I am planning to visit this area via RER when I return to Paris (yipee!) in March. Is the supermarket in the "main" mall or in the outlet mall?

Supermarket is at the main mall Both are next door to each other.

Is there much of a 'French' atmosphere at this shopping centre? We are not particularly keen shoppers but would like to soak up some local atmosphere.

Would half a day here make us feel we were in France or would we be better off spending a day in Paris instead?

I have a feeling I may be overruled on both options once the kids see the parks!!

Spend it in Paris hands down. The mall is just a surburban mail with chain shops. I guess its "french" in the sense that its locals doing their shopping but otherwise its a very generic if attrative and clean mall.
