shopping at Nassau

My family and I will be on the 4 day Disney Cruise in December and I am woundering about the shopping experience. I heard that you can by precious stones there at a good price. Is this true?? If it is where would you find them and would you have to pay duty on the stone???

I think you will get an answer quicker if you post on the "cruie threads". This thread is for trip reports. I am sure some one over there will know about the gems. My personal experience is that the prices were not much cheaper in Nassau and you need to have some bargining skills. Good luck with your trip!!
