Shopping at Nassau - Where to go ?

Wife loves to shop. Where should we go on our day in Nassau to shop?

Bay Street is where much of the tourist shopping is located. It's one block from the cruise docks. You can also walk down to the straw market, but look at the items carefully as many are not actually local. You might also grab a cab over to Paradise Island to shop at the Atlantis resort.

Good advice above. Also be aware that the vendors just outside the dock area are very aggressive in trying to get you to look at their stuff.

The straw market is mostly full of imported t-shirts and trinkets with "Bahamas" stamped on them, the kind of things you see at beachwear shops in beach cities. There are some handmade things there still but less and less every year.
