shopping at my points?

i've never earned points by shopping before. but tonight i went to oldnavy.com through mypoints.com and bought something. but no notice came up saying i got any points! how does earning points through shopping work?!?!

You should see the points in 30 days or so. They'll show up in your pending points in your account statement for a while and then go into your points. The only place that does points overnight (I think) is tupperware....
Good luck in getting them, and make sure you save your email confirmation just in case you have to get mypoints to give you those points.

I just made my first purchase through mypoints as well, it's been about two weeks ago. Do I understand that I should have recieved an email confirmation? I didn't get anything from mypoints.

I've never gotten the email from mypoints, but from the vendor I've purchased from. I keep it until get those points. Also, you can check and see if mypoints picked up on it by looking at your account statement and seeing if there are any points "pending". Those are usually from shopping and take a little bit to get into your points total.

Thanks! I will keep en eye on my account, nothing yet! I shop online alot at Christmas time, and would like to go through reward sites this year (for the first time). I hope it goes well!!!!

Definitely save all confirmation emails from the merchants that you shop at thru MyPoints.

You should have the points credited to your account within 20 business days of your purchase, with a few exceptions. If you don't see those points within those 20 days, an email to customer support with the date of the purchase and a copy of the confirmation email is usually all it takes to get it straightened out.
