Shopping around Disney

Is there a Walmart, Walgreens, or any other supermarkets in the area to pick up a few groceries (milk, snacks, fruit). We are staying at HoJo and would like to stock up our fridge as we have small children with us. Could we use the ART or take a taxi?

On the corner of Harbor & Katella is a 7-11 store. It's about a 6-block walk from the HoJo. Otherwise just about every hotel up and down the street has a mini-mart of some kind, if you're willing to pay the higher price vs. convenience.

The Tropicana motel has a decent mini/sundry shop. Has lots of food, and we even bought wine there..... overpriced, but handy.
Hojo has a good gift shop to with stuff you may have forgotten or need, like cold meds, shoe insoles, etc.
Even the shop at the GC has these items.

Hi twin_moms!

We have a convenience store located on our property that sells many items you may need during your stay; but if you want a bigger selection, there are shopping centers and grocery stores that are fairly close to our hotel! For a full sized grocery store, we recommend our guests to go to Vons or Food4Less. Since these are about 3 miles from our hotel, we are happy to call a taxi or one of our private town cars to take you there, or to any other place you may need.

There is also a Walmart or a Target about 3 miles from our hotel. These stores are considered “superstores,” meaning that the carry a wide variety of items from clothes, electronic, and groceries, making it a one stop shop! Walmart is located in the Anaheim Plaza shopping center, so if you wanted to do a little extra shopping, they have great clothing stores in that center as well!
