I know I will add more as I get closer!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that makes those kinds of lists, lol, mine is packed away right now (moving in Aug), but from what I can remember I listed for my DL trip next Sept:

Anything Tigger (for adults of course)
Mickey ears
50th anniversary shirt
50th anniversary ornament
coffee mug
Stuffed Mickey (to go with my Minnie from years ago)

Stuffed Pooh, Eeyore, or Piglet
GOH Badge from DL

I can't think of anything else right now, but those are the basics!!!

I have a shopping list program for my Palm Pilot (which also makes a great packing list). This way, when I think of something I want to pick up while I'm at WDW, I make a note of it right then!

OMG, I thought DD was the only shopping obsessed visiter. She can go to WDW just to shop. Shop the Resorts, Shop the park, Shop DTD. We have in the last couple of days been putting together a trip for October. Which also means Shop MNSSHP. We will only be at disney for 4 days. I have been putting together and itinerary. She just informed me that doing the parks wasn't that important this trip :earseek: :earseek: . I couldn't believe it.
This is the paln so far. Day 1: arrive check into SSR-arrive early for our Cape May and boardwalk evening(so she can shop!!)
Day 2: SSR SPA-go to DTD and you guessed it, shop-Fultons-PI and more shopping.
Day 3: Epcot F&W-Her favorite place to visit and shop-fireworks.
Day 4: Shop around the monorail resorts-MNSSHP-shop at the emporium. Hopefully enjoy the party our she's on her own(LOL).
Day 5: Thankfully she ships her purchase's home or we'd never get eveything on the plane. Now she doesn't just shop for herself. She is an Aunt for the first time, she will be an honorary aunt anyday and my neice(her favorite cousin) will be having her baby in December. I'm a park person myself but she doesn't get to go as often as I do so I guess I'll be a good MOM and just shop right along with her. She works 60+ hours a week so I guess she deserve's it. Susan

For me, the shopping list keeps me from spending a gazillion dollars! I get less sidetracked by all of the wonderful Disney items if I already know which ones I'm taking home!

Well, before I saw this thread, I hadn't thought of making a list but I have one now ;). I think it is a very good idea since I know I'll be so excited just to be there that I might forget something I really wanted to get.

Here's my list so far:
Christmas tree ornament to add to our small but growing collection from past vacations
Mr Potato Head parts - I already bought the head at a discount store per a suggestion found on the mousesavers website
Silhouettes of DD, me and with Disney characters - we already have 3, 2 pre-DD and one of DD with Minnie.

Not a big list but I'm trying to get some "souvenirs" purchased early at the Disney Store's sale prices, such as t-shirts for DD that I got for $4 - $10. These went right into the suitcase after they'd been washed added to other things such as glow sticks, Disney stickers to add to an autograph book, etc.

Oh this is a GREAT thread!!!! Yes, I have a little shopping list going, and now after reading everyone's replies here, I have a few more things to add to it! :hyper:

I ALWAYS make a shopping list.

1. a Engel-Puppen doll from the toy store in Germany
2. scrapbook stuff
3. christmas ornaments
4. picture frames
5. a robe from the resort (when staying at a deluxe)
6. ANYTHING I come across with Alice in Wonderland on it!

Shopping is one of my favorite parts of the trip!

oh gawsh!! mabye starting one will get me in trouble.
:hyper:

4. something cute for sis(probably tink)
5. something golf for hubby
6. Never forget the dog...something for my princess penni-1 year ago i got here a big stuffed snake from ak.....she loves it.
7. oh and something for me....im hoping they have an italian charm for AKL / definately funny pics from riding rides.

My husband wonders why I just want money for my birthday (August - our trip is in September) My list is growing all the time.

Mickey ears for DS and DD (her first trip)
2004 Christmas Ornaments
SCRAPPIN' STUFF
Mr. Potato Head parts
Candyland Disney version (DS new favorite game)
Charm to start my dd on Disney charm bracelet
Snowglobe
Frame for our family photo in front of one of the parks

Is that all..........? I'll have to start thinking of more stuff to get. :earsgirl:

Shalina

I've already started my list, and I'm not going until December!

1. Picture taken in front of the castle- in all our trips we've never done this. This trip is just me and Ian, aka "Danger Boy", and I think it would be nice to have a mother/son photo :D

2. t shirt I saw in Epcot. It said in Spanish something to the effect of " I never want to grow up". When I was there in April I almost bought it, but a sister who shall remain nameless:rolleyes: talked me out of buying it.

3. More Christmas ornaments

4. Photos of us posing on the rides-we do this every trip! Last trip we did the Girl Scout promise on Dinosaur, RNR, Splash Mountain. Each trip we have a different pose:D

5. Monorail set- every trip I think about buying this, and then regret not buying it when I get home

Thanks for the heads-up on the eyelets!! You're right, they are yet another add-on to my list. Also, thanks for the tip about the Emporium - so I know I don't HAVE to get scrappin stuff at DTD!
