I installed the app on my Razr phone and now what???

Great question! I'd like to know too. I just installed it on my iPhone this morning after getting an email about it from Target.

I love Shopkick! It's fairly simple..

*You earn kicks (points) by walking into many major participating retailers, like Target, Best Buy, Sports Authority, American Eagle, Old Navy and Macy's. During special promotions, the kicks earned here are higher in value.

*You also earn by opening the app every day and wherever there's a dark green star in the bubble next to a store, click on it, and tap on the Instant Surprises, you'll earn kicks.

*The kicks can be redeemed for gift cards to Target, Starbucks, Old Navy CVS, iTunes, Coach & more.

*There are also Shopkick-exclusive coupons for some stores within the ap, especially Target.

I am assuming you need to open the app when you enter the store? I thought you had to scan something in each store?

Sometimes you do both. When you click the store out of the list it will give you a listing of what actions need to be done in order to receive kicks. To collect kicks by "walking into" a store, you need to click "walk in" and stand by the entrance for a few seconds until the GPS locator acknowledges that you're in the right place. To gain points from the items, find the item in store, click the item icon on the phone, then scan the barcode using your phone's camera. It'll take a few seconds to recognize, but it's super easy.

Honestly, I can't answer that. The email from Target looked official. I did google it briefly before I installed the app to make sure it wasn't a scam.

I did try it out tonight at Target and Best Buy. I had trouble scanning 3 of the 4 items. So I only got kicks for 1. I did my best to scan the other 3, but it said the barcode didn't match the item they were looking for.
