I am a super shopper...I love to spend money...I am going to WDW april 6th...I have a mini budget. I should have about 350 dollars US to spend while I am there. Will 50 dollars per day be enough???? i am only including souveneirs...Food is not being paid for by me :D

If you really love to shop and plan on doing so at Disney, I would say No. $50 per day isn't a lot of money if you plan on making multiple purchases everyday. A shirt would probably cost upwards of $25-30.

Does this amount include the extras like ride photos, mouse boats, etc? If so, then you really might consider saving a little more or limiting yourself on what you can buy.

Have Fun! :sunny:

If you love to shop, $50 per day won't be very satisfying. But any limiitation probably wouldn't be very satisfying! LOL

Since you have a strict budget, I would set aside $15 to $20 per day for miscellaneous shopping, and save the remainder until the end of your trip, when you've seen everything and know what will have the most lasting value for you. Then you can splurge on one larger item or several smaller ones, as you choose.

One thing I love about WDW is that, once the basics are covered (transportation, lodging, food & park tickets), you don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy yourself! :)

If you love to shop, I'd try to squeeze a little bit more into to your WDW fund. $50 a day seems like a good amount...but, boy oh boy when you get there it goes fast!

Trying to save til the end like Taja suggested is a good idea, but if you see something your REALLY love that you KNOW you are going to end up buying, then buy it when you see it! I collect coffee mugs and on my last trip I found the coolest mug, but didn't buy it for some reason and then I never saw it again. I was seriously bummed!

I would say it depends on the types of things you buy... how many shirts will you need? etc.. Personally I love to shop too but the only things I would buy for myself is 1 tshirt, one coffee mug and 1 or 2 waterglobes since I started collecting them..

Are you shopping for just yourself? is this money for someone elses purchases such as a child?? if so.. then no I dont think its enough.. But you can always make it work for you if you watch your purchases..

Well, since your food is being paid for, I'd say yes if you can control your shopping. :confused3

Souveniers range in price from a few dollars to thousands of dollars.

When I go, I'm not into "big" souveniers. I collect antenna toppers for my car which cost about $4 each. I like to get functional things also, like pens, coffee cups etc.

We don't really budget for souveniers. If we are in a store and we want something and really feel like it's something we must have, we buy it. Obviously, we are not doing this with $100 items. But the odd pen here and there or photo frame etc.

I'd just set aside some cash for souveniers, rather doing a per day thing. And try to wait until later in your trip to go shopping. That way, you'll have a chance to look around a little and decide what you want.

Remember, you can always order anything from the shops in the parks via WDW mail order when you get home.
