when I saw his picture I was struck by how much he looked like any other college student. This could have happened anywhere, with an average looking kid blending in on any average campus across America.

CNN reported the death of a student named Erin. They were implying this waqs someone who died today, but I was understanding the message from the father as he had been waiting for news and just found out today that she had been among the dead. Has anyone else heard if the number has increased?

I wouldn't worry too much about it Trish, I think your reaction is natural. We all are angry about this senseless tragedy, and sometimes we need to step back and get perspective.

On the radio they were talking about a 76 year old professor that was killed, a holocaust survivor that blocked the door so that students could flee out the window. Heartbreaking, I don't even have words.

I think we will be hearing about a lot of heroic acts in the coming days. Just proves that for every Satan in this world, there are a lot more Angels.

Wanted to let you know that the hospitals are confirming that they are anticipating additional casualties, as "many of the injuries are non-survivable".

Fox is reporting that the killer's family emigrated to the U.S. prior to his arrival in 1992 and that his parents live in Centreville, VA. I'm willing to bet the authorities and investigative reporters are already there.
