OK...Iam starting to seriously think about what to take with me..as I only have about 88 days left.. :teeth:

Before we know it the summer sales will start and all the shops will fill up with autumn clothes by July!
I went shopping today and have bought a few pairs of shorts from priciples and dorothy perkins....I also snook into topshop and bought loads of vest tops.

But what on earth an I going to put on my feet? Is it possible to wear flip flops and not totally kill my feet? :confused3

I do have a couple of comfy pairs....I don't really want to wear trainers as my feet will bake ;) ....

Does anyone know of any comfy flip flops??

P.S..I hate crocs!!!! But i might try the flip flop version.

OfF Subject but was very impressed by matalan recently, and primark is fab for cheap and cheerful :teeth: :teeth:

my family always laugh about my quest for 'comfortable shoes'. On one of the shopping channels today they had fly flot sandals (well 3 bar mules) which looked comfortable. I have just tracked down a pair of Clarks springer sandals in one of their outlet shops, not too frumpy but comfortable. Good luck

Debenhams have a sale on now until end of Friday

They have some lovely sequined flip flops that I think are down to £8 and then you get another 20% off!

I also love clarks springers and I've just ordered some crocs of ebay!
;)

I've got a pair of Hush Puppy toe post sandals which will be used for the third summer! They are very comfortable. I also like Clarks privo - which are like slippers! You can get them in all the Clarks outlets in Florida, and they have far more choice than here! I'll be taking a pair of them when we go in July! Good luck with your shoe shopping!

Have you tried Lands End? I ordered myself some sandals off there http://www.landsend.co.uk/icat/pc061806 which are really comfy. And their clothes and shoes are guaranteed for ever - including sending them back if you decide you dont like them AFTER you have worn them. DH and I have their polo shirts, shorts, jeans, sports shoes, shirts/blouses and the quality is really good.

Everything is sold in American sizes. I would recommend them 100%

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I better start getting organised!! :teeth:
A lot of traceys here! Its my name too! :sunny:

Flip flops are fine for most occassions, but wouldn't wear them for a serious "park day" (or serious "shopping day" for that matter either...). You will be on your feet an awful lot (walking and queueing): they have no support (for your arch) or protection (in crowds people tend to step on the back of your flip flop - half amputating your toes!).

I would go for trainers or other very comfortable shoes/sandals. Whatever you do, make sure you "break them in" before you go (don't leave them to look nice for the parks and wera them for the first time when you get there...). It takes your feet a while to get used to any new shoe (no matter how comfortable).

Best Wishes,
Boo

I don't normally 'do' flip flops at all but bought some Crocs ones on our last trip :)

I wore them, very tentatively at first, to the parks............. and have hardly had them off my feet ever since.............. ;)

Just bought myself another pair from Australia as the US won't ship to the UK and they're not available in UK yet :thumbsup2

Hi Don't kniw if it is of interest to anyone I have just found the Crocs FlipFlops on US Ebay, they want $32 plus $10 to ship to the UK, whcih I din't think was bad considering the exchange rate at the moment - I have sent him a question concerning the shippingetc, and depending on the outcome might order later .... this will be my first pair of crocs, but judging by the thread thats been going on everyone else loves them ... :ccat: :ccat:

I wear toe-post Fly-Flots when in WDW - I've never found anything so comfy that looks as good. Check out www.shoe-shop.com for a selection. :sunny:

I wore leather sandals last year and they were fabulous, no problem at all. I had an old pair that I got years ago and are still really comfy and also a pair from Clarks. The nearest I could find to them on Clarks website was this one

Mine didn't have as much material on top though but are similar. I would definitely recommend wearing sandals with a back to them, a cosy fit all round - flip flops will cause your ankles to ache I think!
