Shoes for Disney

I was wondering what everyone's favorite shoes were to wear in Disney? I was thinking about getting a pair of crocs because I've heard so many of you say they are the greatest. What is better, the classic beach croc or one of the sandle crocs like the capri?

I vote for the Capri. Loved them for my Disney trip!

I have become completely devoted to the "Croc" . I purchased 2 pairs of the MaryJane Crocs this summer and I love them. They are soooo comfortable and look a little better than the original Croc; that I want to purchase the ones with the fur for the colder weather. I'm still wearing my Mary Janes as long as I can. So find which ones fit your style and enjoy the comfort.

It doesn't matter what works for somebody else. You need to know what feels comfortable on your feet. There is such a difference in people's feet that what works well for others could be exactly wrong for you.

Go to one of those athletic shoe stores in the mall and try on many different pairs. Don't stop until you find one that just feels good and cushy when you put it on.

Size is important - your feet will spread during a full day in the parks so be sure the shoes aren't too tight when you buy. Its best to shop for shoes later in the day for just that reason.

Be sure to wear your new shoes at home before you go so that they get broken in. You don't want to be wearing brand-new shoes at WDW.

I wore flip flops the entire time we were there. I went from my Athens Crocs to my cheap K Mart ones that I love. The only problem with it is when it rains, it is so hard to keep them on my feet. I actually took them off when it was pouring because I couldn't walk in them at all and all I wear are flip flops normally. The upside is that they do dry much quicker than sneakers, so I lived with the inconvenience in the rain.

I wore croc's one day several years ago and my feet, legs, back etc told me it was a mistake. I wouldn't go without my Roebok walking shoes, Roebok sandals and/or my sandals from Bass Pro. Whatever you wear at home that you can wear all day, those are the shoes to bring to WDW.

We just returned and I didn't even take my tennis shoes out of the suitcase. I wore my Teva Mush Flip flops the whole time and they were wonderful!!!!

I only wear the Croc Capri Flip Flops. With the fabric straps they're great and don't rub or give me a blister. We were at WDW for 4 days in September and all I took was 3 pairs of flips & just alternated them depending on the color of my clothes.......LOL..... They were great during the rain storms as they dried quickly and I didn't slip in them either. Since I live in Florida I'm in flips almost 24/7 anyways! Just be sure whatever you choose that they're well broke in before you use them at WDW.

I wear nothing but Crocs at Disneyworld and have never had a problem with my feet hurting. I have the disney crocs with mickey head holes instead of just holes. Have fun

I bought Merrel's that are mesh for water but look like athletic shoes. I got them so I had the comfort of tennis shoes but I could wear them to the pool and in water rides and the everyday aftenoon rain we get down there.

Same with me. I lived in my Teva mush...took 4 pairs to switch off depending on my attire. I also took my Mickey Crocs, which always work well. But i did end up with a blister on the last night, when I wore my Alice crocs..mostly because it was pretty warm and muggy and my feet were sweating.

Teva Mush are the best. I started wearing these years ago after I hurt my foot in Disney. I'm glad to hear they still felt good after a long day of walking. My plan was to wear tennis shoes and have these in the diaper bag to trade off during the day.

I've a question for you crocs/fip flop wearers! I love my crocs but I had thought they would be terrible for Disney because that make my feet moist [sweaty ]. Do none of you have that problem when wearing them? Perhaps it's just my feet!?!

I wear only the Croc Capri Flip Flops (with the cloth straps) and my feet don't sweat at all in them. I wear them about 24/7 here in Florida and don't have any problems at all.

Well I just ordered me a pair of these along with a new pair of walking shoes and a new sling bag all for our December trip. Now for them to arrive and get them all broke in!! I was wearing that original style of croc and I think they were just to confining and caused my feet to get hot. The only thing I'm worried about on the Capri's though is someone STEPPING on my toes!!
