Last time we went to Disney it downpoured one day and we saw people that had plastic shoe covers. Does anybody have any recommendations for any? We prefer to wear tennis shoes over sandals every day but wet tennis shoes and socks are horrible. I looked at some on Amazon but the reviews are not very good on most.

I am going to put a pair of flip flops/sandals in back pack, that way I can change them out when it rains and prevent wet tennis shoes.

We packed a pair of flip flops incase it rained and our shoes got wet. We ended up needing them one day and they were so uncomfortable by the end of the day! But I'm not sure if any covers would have been better since the rain came pretty suddenly and I was too busy trying to find some cover and hold my poncho down before it blew away.

I can't imagine wearing plastic shoe covers:confused3 you could just tote a pair of extra socks, and change them if your feet get wet....:confused3 we just switch our shoes out when we get back to our room later, and let the wet ones dry out:confused3

I am not sure at all about the plastic shoe covers. I wear my Sanuk yoga mat flip flops during rainy season & I can go all day & night in them. That's what I'd suggest.

No rain covers, and I cannot wear flip-flops in the rain (my feel slip and slide around in them). I wear the lightest athletic sneakers I own, and bring an extra pair of shoes. I've never had a pair that didn't air dry by the end of the next day.

I H A T E wet socks!!! HATE them. And, I HATE wearing flip flops in the rain with wet feet and going in/out of places/attractions, etc.
I would LOVE to bring plastic shoe covers and use if it was raining out.
I think I will look on Amazon and purchase for my September/December trips.
Thanks for the tip!

OP- Try doing a search on Amazon for 'booties shoe covers.' I just did & the top 3 that come up have good reviews. :)

Crocs are a great alternative. Shoes - not flip flops. I wear them to the pool instead of flip flops. No slipping & falling. :thumbsup2

If waterproof is a concern, I have a pair of Keens Daytonas that are waterproof and work great for flat feet.
