Shocked!

Given that I have nearly 25,000 posts and have never had a tag by the tag fairy, I probably agree with you.

But thanks for making the shout out for me!!

Kids love those values. Our first Disney stay was at the Contemporary (freebie accomodations for four nights due to work conference for DH). We loved it there / had a balcony room with an MK view.

DS is a big Herbie the Love Bug fan, so for our next onsite stay we did the All Star movie value (Herbie the Love Bug building). DS was eight at the time. I was afraid he would be disappointed after having first done a deluxe stay, but he was absolutely delighted with everything -- The larger than life Herbie icons, the pictures from the movies, the theme related decorations // It was such a big hit to my surprise and delight. It was super inexpensive too.

I have 2000 posts and 3 tags, it's not quantity, it's quality....LOLOL, jk

My son is only 5yrs but insists on staying at Pop from here on out since we went for the first time last year. SSR is out for the time being. :)

My daughter would choose a Value in a minute. She loved ASMo when we stayed there. Given the choice now though she would choose AKL. She loves animals and heard about the animals you can see from your room. She asked me if we could stay at the hotel with the giraffes outside. For me that looks appealing but only for a couple of days, so if budget allows we may stay there 2 nights before our 2013 cruise.

Unless something changes we won't be back at ASMo. I loved the place. It was really perfect for our first trip in the fall, no midday breaks; however, I hardly slept because my son refused to sleep in the pack-n-play. He slept in one at home, but cried every time I put him in the one at ASMo. The two of them can't share a bed as someone would get hurt. They are both wild sleepers. I ended up sharing that small bed with him and every time he moved I woke up thinking he was going to roll off the bed. I finally got him in the pack-n-play one night, but it happened to be the night dd got sick. She tossed her cookies at 1am…guess where. I couldn't even get him back in the one at home after that.

So from here forward, we're in at least a Mod unless it's AofA.

My girls love the value resorts too! We stayed in a moderate our last trip, and all they kept saying was how much they wished they were back at All Star Movies (the first Disney Resort we stayed at). When I booked for next summer, you can be sure that's what they requested. No arguments from me! ;)

My son picked Sports too. He saw the football stuff and that was it for him!

My daughter saw the basketballs and that was it for her! So I guess we will be staying at All Star Sports.

DD(9) only ever wants to stay at ASMu. She calls it "home". We stayed at the Contemporary not too long ago and she insisted on pool hopping to ASMu (don't tell anyone...but we did it).

I have no children, but we usually stayed in an All Star resort until Pop came along....one year we used the military discount and stayed at CBR - the whole time I was wishing I was back at Pop. This trip we're staying at the YC....surely I won't find myself longing for Pop

maybe you can take your savings and do something really special for this trip!
