One of my favourite Xmas movies is Heidi with Shirley Temple. Any other fans out there? If so, do you own any movies? Who has the most? I have 13 movies. Which ones have you got? Which is your favourite?

My favorite is "The Little Princess". We watched these movies all the time when we were children (like Lucy, they were reruns then too!)

Three or four years ago AMC had the movies on every morning in December at 8AM. I didn't realize it until near the end of the month. So I was only able to tape 10 of them. I have 2 others that I purchased for DD. Shirley Temple was her absolute favorite from about 2 1/2 to 8. She still likes them, but not as much.

It's hard to pick a favorite - they're all good! I always liked Capt January when I was younger, though. DS watched the Bachelor & the Bobby Soxer with me last year & laughed like an idiot! ("The power of voodoo. Who do? You do!")

Oh! What a great post!!! I absolutely love each and every one of her movies. I am age 42 and every single Sunday afternoon at 4 pm (back in the late 60's and 70s) I would sit with my sister and watch her movies. I can remember it now, smelling the roast beef cooking. My problem with these movies now...if you go to buy them they are in color. No can do. I NEED them in black and white! Where can I find them in B and W?? Cap'n January, love it. Or how bout the one with her on the plane and he wants to adopt her? LOVE EM!!!!

My daughter is good friends with Ashley Rose Orr, the little girl who played Shirley in the movie made about 2 yrs ago now!! We are huge shirely temple fans and love the movies!! My daughter was a shirley temple doll in the nutcracker last year - she was a mechanical doll all done up to look like shirley - soooo cute!!!! It sure was fun having a friend get to be shirley and tell us all about making the movie!!!! I think she did an incredible job!

I LOVE Shirley Temple movies!! Just seen "Poor Little Rich Girl" the other day. My oldest DD ( 10 ), likes her movies too.

I always loved Shirley Temple. My faves are probably Captain January and The Little Colonel.

I love Shirley Temple. I just wish that the videos of her movies were not colorized. My favorite movie of hers is "Bright Eyes".

I think I have about 10 of them. (I don't know for sure because I'm at work and they're at home.) My favorite is "Bright Eyes," especially when she sings "On the Good Ship Lollipop."
