Shipt?

As anyone used Shipt for a hotel delivery? I have a free 6 month trial and was thinking about using it for our upcoming trip.

It's not through the mail so I don't have to pay $5 a package correct?

Do you have to meet the person or can it be left at bell hop?

Does it allow for alcohol purchases?

How are the prices?

Can you use Target gift cards or is it it's own company? (I got my trial offer through Target.)

Any experiences, tips, advice/information that would be useful that I did not ask above would also be super helpful.

I use Shipt at home. I do not think they are allowed to deliver alcohol (I recall seeing this on their website). They are their own company, so I don't know how they would use Target gift cards, but they are owned by Target now. I just get my items from Publix from them. The prices, you can see on the APP before ordering. I think you would need to contact the hotel or Shipt to confirm if you have to meet them in person.

I used Shipt for my trip in January. I did not order any alcohol. My Shipt shopper texted me while I was on DME making our way to the resort (Boardwalk). The shopper arrived at the resort about 5 mins before the bus pulled up. They left the groceries with bell services since I had cold items in the order. I paid for it using my credit card that I have on file with them. The prices are a little more than what they have in the stores from what I have seen.

Interesting, I have the same trial, and have used them at home, but never thought to use them at the Boardwalk in 3 weeks. I was going to use Prime Now, but I wonder if this is better?

I use Shipt at home and really like it. The prices average out to be around 20% higher than in the store but you just have to know your prices so sometimes I skip buying something because the price via Shipt is ridiculous.

I can buy alcohol via Shipt at home in MI but when I checked for Florida it wasn’t available. For what it’s worth, in MI when they deliver alcohol they scanned the barcode on the back of my license before they would hand it to me.

I think i’m going to try it Sunday for delivery to the Swan but would be planning to meet the shopper out front.
