Hi all. I am trying to figure out how to get all my welcome bags (or boxes) to Disney. I am making about 15 and I am sure they will be a bit heavy especially if we put in water bottles or anything. I really wanted to do gable boxes, but how would I ship them??? Anyway, how did everyone get their bags or boxes to Disney and how much did it cost?

To help save on shipping, if you decide to do water bottles, you could leave those out until you arrive in FL. You could buy and assemble the water bottles once you get to Orlando. They don't take too long to finish once the labels are printed and cut.

I'm not sure how you could ship gable boxes. The tops are especially tricky. I did box mine up to drive to Orlando but they were placed in a very large box so that the tops wouldn't get squashed. Hopefully someone will come along with an answer for ya! :goodvibes

Is it possible not to assemble the boxes until you arrive in Disney?
Just box it all up and assemble when you get there, it will be easier for you.
We drove and of course that's easier but when we got to our room my daughter and I just put them together in the room it took less than an hour.HTH Great idea Jackie about not getting the water until you arrive. We puchased personalized stickers from ebay it took no time to place them on the bottles.

The problem is 95% of my guests are on the same flight as me and I wanted them to be there when we got there. So I don't know.

You want the boxes to be in the rooms when you all arrive? I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I don't think that's possible. Someone from your party will need to deliver them to the resorts. I don't think Disney will accept a package, open it and distribute the contents. That would be a liability for them.

Are you having a Welcome Party or Rehearsal Dinner? You could deliver them to the resorts after you arrive and have them delivered while your guests are attending that. You could also give them out at your WP or RD.
