Shipping to resort

We will be mailing things to our resort to limit what we have to take on the plane. How far in advance would you do this?
 
If using UPS or Fedex I would suggest about 5 days. If using USPS we shipped ours about 10 days before our arrival at PORFQ and it was there when we arrived.
