Shipping To/From The Resorts

I've read a few posts on shipping items to resort rooms in advance of one's stay, but how do you ship something back home?

I have a FedEx discount and was planning to ship Christmas items to our room at POFQ and then ship them back home (along with all the goodies we pick-up).

Does anyone know if the resorts without Business Centers have shipping kiosks or pick-up points? We leave Monday at 5am so we would have all our stuff packed Sunday night.

We won't have a car BTW.

When we stayed at CBR, DS bought one of the long rifles from frontierland...a major "not allowed on the plane " toy. The kiosk/store had a box for these guns already, and then we went to the front desk at CBR and they took care of arranging the shipping. We paid the shipping fee at the desk., and that was it. The whole thing took maybe 5 minutes. I imagine there will be a bit longer of a wait this time of year with others shipping holiday goodies home, but really, it was quite painless. Took me longer to get to the front desk than to actually arrange the shipping! I do not know how your discount will work tho...we sent ours thru the reg postal shipping.

we were at the cr last month and my son won a lamp in the game room we were staying concierge so i asked them and they took care of it for us i just gave them the lamp and it was at my house a few days after we got home. i am sure the front desk can also help with this.

I also bought rifles, but at MGM. They shipped them right from the stand by Indiana Jones. I paid $7.95 total for standard postal delivery. The business center at the Swan was only open M-F and closed on weekends. I'm not sure about the Dolphin or any of the offical Disney resorts.

I assume that the mailing label should have our date of arrival and reservation number on it. Should I put it to my attention and use the address on the back of my reservation from WDW?
